Lulu Frost Popsugar bracelet to Lulu Frost Popsugar necklace

The most expensive item in the December 2013 Popsugar Must Have was the Lulu Frost bracelet for Popsugar.  Lulu Frost is know for its distinctive combination of antique and modern and they make a lot of pieces that I really love, but for some reason, the bracelet didn't do it for me.

          

I decided to take it apart and make it into a neckless and a bracelet with out the charm.  I found an old Forever 21 necklace and took the glass stone slivertone plates charm and attached it the F21 necklace. Result, perfect bling necklace for New Years Eve.

Kelloggs to Eggnog

Instead of my usual Special K this morning, I decided to prepare my family a special merry liquid breakfast - spiced eggnog.  To do so I went back to my POPSUGAR MUST HAVE December 2013 box and took out the following:

(1) Eggnog spiced white chocolate inside the holiday edition Ghiradelli assortment,
(2) GOVINA champagne flutes, and
(3) spiced eggnog of choice (not in box, and I used Zackariah Harris EggNog).

  

To do this, take the chocolate square, put it in a bowl, melt it in the microwave by heating it for 20 seconds at a time, until it softens to a thick liquid texture.  Take the flutes and dipped it in the bowl.  Put the flute in the fridge for 1 minute to let the chocolate set. VOILA - eggnog white chocolate rim!

Eggnog chocolate + spiced eggnog + champagne flute = one happy family!

Beyond the review

Subscription boxes are fantastic, and I personally love it.  However, I found while all the blogs out there are fab in reviewing or spoiling what is in the box (I always seem to get my last), it stops there. (other than give the item away when you don't like it).  This is the next step...whatever that will be.

One of the item was NCLA's Peppermint Lane nail wrap.  What better way to get in the holiday spirit?
