Mother's Day Subscription Gifts!

Why do we only celebrate mother's day once a year when our mothers work hard every single day of the year? And because of this, I think getting mother's a yearly subscription is a really thoughtful way to let them know they are important to us every month.  I do wish the subscription companies would run mother's day specials - but not in i.e. 40% off a box, but in - if I order it on mother's day, and told them it is for my mother for the length of the subscription - that they would include an extra card (or some extra sentence) that says "Thank you Mom, just because it is 'September' [insert month]".  Maybe eventually someone will pick this up. 

Don't worry about this being last min - make a card that says "monthly love coming" with a picture of the subscription you pick.

Toms for Target Charity Monthly Subscriptions

In the month of giving, Target partnered with Toms and released a line that help feed america.  In the spirit of giving,  it inspired me to do this post, highlighting the subscription boxes that will continue to donate throughout the year:

Square Hue: A monthly nail polish subscription for $14.99/month + shipping for 3 full-size .50oz, made in the USA, nail polishes.  Square Hues donates a portion of your monthly subscription to charity through their HueGive program. The charity may change from time to time, currently it is focusing on human trafficking with the A21 Campaign.

Mightee Kids:  Is a $18.50/month subscription box aimed for parents to teach their kids about charity at a very young age.  Each month, a new charity is selected, and the subscription is filled with information and a T-shirt for parents to discuss with their kids how their subscription ($5 donated with each subscription) made the difference.
