Box: Snack Nation

What is it: office delivery of healthy snacks.  This subscription is made for offices versus individuals.

Cost: varies based on the size of the office and size of the box

Best for: office managers that has control over the office snack bar and has a healthy budget to help pay for the healthy snacks.

I once worked in an office that started a healthy program and provided oatmeal in the mornings. I loved it, and thought it was great, however, when the economy took a down turn, that was the first thing to go.

The bottom line is, when we get the munchies at work, we just grab whatever is available in the office, thus it would be great to have some alternatives.

Here is a look at what you can expect:

This is a small sample box for an office of 5-10 people, thus if you work in a big office, your box should look very different from this one.

More goodies tucked in the front compartment of the box.  This is a really clever designed box with pictures of buildings inside both the front compartment of the box and the back of the back.

I don't think my pictures are doing this box justice.  Anyways, on to some of the snacks.

This organic dried mango looks really good. Then again, I always loved dried mangos and this one has no added sugar, no preservative and no fillers.

Bean & Rice Chips - A bag of chips that provides 5g of protein and 6g of fibre, definitely an improvement from my favorite Doritos.

This Super Human Snack White Cheddar Popcorn meets the standard for "USDA Smart Snacks in School Rules". I don't actually know exactly what that means but I do know that every purchase of this snack donates to GAIN, the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition, which is a plus.

And Van's PB&J sandwich bars.  This was the first snack I picked to try, it tasted like a fig bar.  I couldn't really tell it was PB&J.  However, I still feel like this was a much better choice than a chocolate bar.

What do you think of this subscription? If you have an office whose brain power you are responsible for, try this box for free now and see if this box is for you and your co-workers.  Snack Nation is offering the first sample box free.
